Program Overview
A 9-week live, small-group Zoom program focused on developing the most essential skill a writer can master: the art of critique.
You will learn to identify intention, evaluate clarity, and discuss what strengthens or weakens a piece of writing, all within a supportive, guided environment.
Each participant reads twice during the program, but engages in 14 critique opportunities, which is where the true growth happens. Critiquing the work of others sharpens your editorial instincts and improves your own writing more effectively—and more quickly—than reading alone.
This program is about craft, clarity, intention, and revision. It is not about judging subject matter or content. The focus is always on what the writer intended and how effectively that intention was delivered.
You’ll hear a range of opinions from real readers in real time—an invaluable experience that no asynchronous forum or comment thread can match.
