Real people. Real-time.
Real critique to help you write better.

For more than a dozen years, I’ve led weekly read-and-critique groups where writers gather around a real and a virtual tables to read aloud, critique, and sharpen their craft (Testimonials). Zoom provides the ability to meet in person at a live virtual roundtable where you can see real reactions, hear real voices, and receive the kind of critique that will genuinely help you write better. (About Randy Koons)

My writers’ groups offer two options to take a seat at the table, depending on the level of depth and commitment you want:
Writers’ Roundtable Critique (Free Group)
A weekly, open-access read-and-critique session.
Join anytime to listen, learn, and—if you arrive early enough—claim a seat at the table to join in on the critique with other writers. It’s a welcoming way to practice your craft, strengthen your editing instincts, and write better one week at a time.
WRC Program (Paid)
A more focused, structured experience for writers who want deeper development and consistent progress. Seats are limited, offering a true editorial environment where you give and receive concentrated critique and develop your writing project with intention and direction.
Whether you choose the free Writers’ Roundtable Critique or the WRC Program, you’ll work with real people in real time—a community designed to help you write better with every session.
